From the recording I Wish You Would Believe
Growing up in an atheistic home, I was schooled in secular ways of looking at life. I had little exposure to liturgy or Christian traditions. When I became a Christian as an adult, I found myself wanting to repackage certain aspects of how the Christian message was being presented, so that it might penetrate the minds of non-believers. "Come If You Are Weary" is taken from the book of Isaiah and is, essentially, my version of the Apostles' Creed, as I would present it to atheists.
